Laier to conquer the 2010 FIM Women’s Motocross World Title in Fermo
FUNCHAL (PORTUGAL), 8 September 2010 – The FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship is the only series which is still to be decided, and Fermo will be the last and crucial round of the Championship. Stephanie Laier lands in Italy being the current red plate holder with 39 points advantage, which leaves the Livia Lancelot with not many chances to revalidate his 2008 World Title.

Fermo hosts last Grand Prix of 2010 FIM Motocross World Championship
FUNCHAL (PORTUGAL), 8 September 2010 – The 2010 FIM Motocross World Championship is getting to its end and Fermo is the new Italian venue chosen to conclude the season this weekend. Antonio Cairoli and Marvin Musquin arrive in Italy being already the 2010 FIM World Champions in MX1 and MX2 respectively, but the top ten positions in both Championships are still to be decided.

Entry list of final UEM EMX 125 round in Fermo this weekend
This weekend Fermo, Italy, will mark the final round of the successful UEM EMX 125 series which started this year and gathered an average of about 70 riders per event. As Jordi Tixier has already wrapped up the Title in Loket, Czech Republic, last August, now it is up to Yohan Lafont, Sulivan Jaulin and Samuele Bernardini to battle hard for the runner up position. Sunday results off the GP Belgium
 Antonio Cairoli was the best from the MX1 and nobody was a real challenger to him.
Second in the GP was Nagl Maximillan en 3° the suzuki pilot from Belgium Clement Desalle.

2010 FIM MX3 World Champion Carlos Campano rides Italian GP in Fermo
Carlos Campano was crowned the 2010 FIM MX3 World Champion last weekend in Geneva, Switzerland, and became the first Spaniard to write his name among the best Motocross riders in the World. The 25 year old rider from Andalucia will take part in the last MX1 Grand Prix of the season in Fermo, Italy, to get ready for the upcoming Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations in USA.

Cairoli and Paulin win in Lierop-Musquin takes MX2 Title with second overall
LIEROP (THE NETHERLANDS), 5 September 2010 – Marvin Musquin finished second overall in the Benelux Grand Prix but was crowned the 2010 FIM MX2 World Champion already after the first heat thanks partly to Roczen’s misfortune, pulling out of the opening moto. The Grand Prix victory went on hands of his compatriot Gautier Paulin. In MX1 Antonio Cairoli struggled a little bit on the Dutch track but managed to clinch the overall victory and continues breaking records in the History of the sport.

Carlos Campano took first World Championship title for Spain

LIEROP (THE NETHERLANDS), 5 September 2010 – Taking third in Lierop’s heat one while runner up in the Championship Ken Roczen pulled out, 20 year old French Marvin Musquin became the 2010 MX2 World Champion and collected his second consecutive World Title. With KTM 350 SX-F mounted Cairoli winning the MX1 Title in Brazil, KTM got a full score today as they collected also the MX1 and MX2 Manufacturers’ World Titles. In 2010 KTM won Titles in both classes for their first time ever.

Road 2 Recovery Foundation’s goal to raise $1M for Spinal Cord Research
In less than a month time the 64th edition of the Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations will be celebrated in the Thunder Valley track in Denver, USA, and among the numerous stands at the venue there will be the Road 2 Recovery tent. The American non-profit organization, which raises money for spinal cord research, has established a challenge for former Motocross Champion Jimmy Button and his trainer Cory Worf that consists on cycling 2428 miles from San Diego, CA, to Daytona Beach, FL. Their goal is to raise over $1M to be donated to Dr Hans Keirstead at Reeves Irvine Research Centre in Irvine, CA.
